Our Columbia Valley Red Blend began as a creative solution—an experiment born from barrels that didn’t quite fit into our core wines. In the early days, we sourced small lots of Merlot, Malbec, and other varietals for blending, often ending up with beautifully expressive wine that had no designated place. That leftover wine inspired something bigger. What started as a practical project quickly turned into a standout favorite, gaining such popularity that we now source fruit specifically for this blend and produce over 1,000 cases annually.

Red Blend #6 continues the tradition with its bold yet balanced profile, composed of 48% Syrah, 41% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4% Malbec. While the Syrah and Merlot form the heart of the wine, the supporting varieties add complexity and lift. Each component is chosen for its character and harmony, resulting in a wine that is layered, expressive, and exceptionally drinkable.

Juicy dark fruit leads the way—think black cherry, plum, and raspberry—woven together with subtle hints of cocoa, spice, and a touch of earth. It’s plush and vibrant on the palate, with soft tannins and a long, smooth finish.
